Jeremiah J O'Donovan
President
Mr. O'Donovan founded his multi-line insurance agency in 1982, specializing in Commercial Insurance and Surety Bonding. He is commited to customer service and keeping his "small-agency feel". Jeremiah is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has been licensed for property, casualty, life, and health in Maryland as a Resident Agent since 1975. He has also been a Surplus Lines Licensed Broker in Maryland since 1995 and is a Non-Resident Broker in 35 states .
Mr. O'Donovan sits on the Advisory Panel for the Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. chapter of the Insurance Agents & Brokers trade organization. This group advocates on behalf of its members in front of legislators. His interests include Golf, Redskins football, and raising his two children, Conor and Colleen

Vice President
Jeremiah is currently Vice-President of O'Donovan & Associates. His core expertise includes business insurance, risk management and field sales. Jeremiah is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a Certified Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist and a Licensed Insurance Agent (property and casualty)
Jeremiah currently resides in Marriottsville with his wife, Amanda, son Jeremiah J., and daughter, Reagan. He is a member of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce and is a founding member of the Young Professionals Network. In his personal time, Jeremiah enjoys golf, Redskins football, softball and baseball.
Beth Overmyer
Accounting Manager
Beth is the Accounting Manager at O’Donovan & Associates. Her expertise includes audit and assurance work with financial reporting and management. Beth is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park where she received her BS degree in Accounting. She has over 10 years of broad-based accounting experience, including work with a top 20 national accounting firm, as well as non-profits, real estate, tax credit services, and legal firms.
Beth resides in Columbia with her husband and sons, ages 5 and 2. She enjoys outdoor activities including skiing where she was a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America Association for 4 years. She has enjoyed remodeling her home and decorating it. Beth enjoys spending her personal time scrapbooking.
Ryan Markoff
Sales
Ryan is the Senior Account Executive whose primary focus is insurance counseling with business clients in the Harford County area.
Ryan is the most recent addition to O’Donovan & Associate’s sales team. He has 13 years of outside sales experience in the region, and was most recently a Sales Consultant at Paychex. Ryan is a licensed property and casualty agent and prides himself on the ability to develop professional relationships with customers’ needs in mind. He believes that integrity during the sales process is paramount.
Ryan lives in Bel Air with his wife Jennifer and daughters Madeline and Kathryn. Ryan is a 1995 graduate of Salisbury University’s business program. He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and fishing.
Holly Haddad-McDade, CIC
Underwriting Manager
Holly is the Underwriting Manager for O’Donovan & Associates’ TimberSure Logging Managing General Agent (MGA) Program. Licensed at 18, Holly began her insurance career in a family-owned agency in upstate New York. Holding Degrees in Insurance and Real Estate & Banking from the State University of New York at Canton and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati, Holly forged into the Underwriting training steps of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) program while holding down marketing positions with two major carriers. Continuing education includes obtaining her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) while also attending college. Ultimately Holly’s career focused in the Heavy Casualty and Large Account Underwriting arena including the managing of entire underwriting departments for both the carrier side and the MGA program side of the industry.
Holly’s has managed property & casualty insurance business from coast to coast. In her large account years, Holly’s accounts included Fortune 500 corporations with operations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Canada, along with various reinsurance bordereau relationships with major reinsurers, particularly in the trucking industry.
Holly currently resides in Lutherville, MD and enjoys traveling as a side benefit of her husband Dave’s extensive international travel in conjunction with AIDS clinics in Africa. While in the US, both enjoy working with rescued animals, gardening, and constant household projects with their 100+ year old house.
Brieanna Leakan
Customer Service Representative
Brieanna is the Customer Service Representative for O’Donovan & Associates’ TimberSure Logging Managing General Agent (MGA) Program. She is a licensed property and casualty agent in the state of Maryland, where she has lived her whole life. A 2004 graduate of Atholton High School, she has been with O’Donovan & Associates since 2006. She is currently working toward the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. In her spare time she enjoys playing pool, reading, and spending time with her nieces.
Christy Horton
Policy Administrator
Christy Horton is the Policy Administrator issuing policies for the O’Donovan & Associates’ TimberSure Logging Managing General Agent (MGA) Program. She has been with O’Donovan & Associates since 2006. Christy is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in Communication Studies. Christy is a mom of two young boys and in her free time, she chauffeurs her boys to their schools and activities. She also enjoys ringing handbells with her church and is an avid reader.
Tammie B.Mills
Personal Lines Account Manager and Customer Service Representative
Tammie is the customer service representative for O’Donovan & Associates, Inc. She is licensed in Property and Casualty lines of insurance. In addition to managing personal lines, Tammie also assists with servicing Commercial Lines clients, marketing activities and office operations.
In her personal time, Tammie enjoys photography, cooking, and adventures with her four year old daughter, Ava. Hailing from Colorado, Tammie is a Colorado Avalanche fan.
